Planerio Public API Documentation
The Planerio API is Planerio’s public HTTP/JSON integration for automated data exchange with third-party systems. It covers master data, scheduling, absences, time tracking, and payroll accounting; is available for versions 1.5 and 2.0; and supports the JSON, CSV, and Excel formats. Authentication is performed using a shift group token or a technical login.
What the Planerio API Does
Using the Planerio API, you can automatically exchange data between Planerio and your third-party systems, such as HR, payroll, or BI systems. The integration covers five areas: master data, planning, absences, time tracking, and payroll accounting. You can retrieve data in JSON, CSV, and Excel formats; push and pull methods (HTTPS, FTPS, SFTP, S3) are also available for importing data.
The Planerio API is also used for over 100 integrations that allow Planerio to integrate into your existing system landscape.
Authentication
Most endpoints are accessed using a shift group token, which a user with administrative rights creates under Admin » Settings. Each token restricts data access to the assigned shift groups. For automated retrievals and imports, a user-independent technical login is available, which you can obtain from your Planerio account manager.
